Steven brought that ethos to New York City, where he built a distinguished 16-year career at Saks Fifth Avenue and its parent company, Hudson’s Bay Company. Rising from Senior Manager to Vice President at Saks Fifth Avenue, Steven led event marketing, public relations, and client experience. In this role, he oversaw flagship charitable programs that generated millions of dollars in support of hundreds of organizations nationwide — spanning arts, education, health, environmental conservation, and LGBTQ advocacy.
When Hudson’s Bay Company acquired Saks in 2013, Steven thrived through the significant changes that followed. Navigating the complexity of integrating legacy cultures and evolving corporate structures, he expanded his role to Vice President of Event Marketing across North America, responsible for Saks, Hudson’s Bay, Lord & Taylor, Gilt, Saks OFF 5TH and the HBC Foundation. Eventually moving to Chief of Staff to the CMO, and ultimately to Head of Operations for Customer Care. His ability to lead through transformation — to bring people together, maintain excellence under pressure, and find clarity in complexity — defines his professional character.
After leaving Hudson’s Bay Company, Steven started his own marketing consulting business, then joined KRW Consulting — a boutique lifestyle marketing agency — ultimately taking on the role of Head of Business Operations. Working with luxury fashion, lifestyle, hospitality, and charitable foundations, he streamlined operations, positioning established and emerging brands for growth.
